BRAvo - An art project celebrating survival and hope
Save the Date - Second Annual BRAvo Art Show Slated for 6-9 p.m. Friday, October, 2010 at the Riverside Artists Gallery!!

WELCOME TO THE MOST FUN YOU'VE EVER HAD WITH A HOT GLUE GUN AND HOPE

Every three minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer.  We think that's one woman too many.

So, we decided to do something about it.  Enter BRAvo  - an art project celebrating survival and hope while raising awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer.

Participants in BRAvo are presented with a simple challenge: Take an ordinary bra and turn it into a work of art. So, whether you work best with feathers, sequins, fur or foam, let your inner artist take control!  Pin it, sew it, duct-tape it, scrap it, quilt it, make it glow!  Join the fun, get crafty and help raise money to help Susan G. Komen for the Cure and The National Philanthropic Trust continue funding breast cancer research, education and treatment.

And on October 9, 2009, participants’ beautifully-decorated pieces will be unveiled at a special art show held at Riverside Artists Gallery at 188 Front Street in Marietta, Ohio.

For a simple, tax deductible $25 entry fee, you can be a part of this celebration - of women, of survival, of loss and of hope. Join us as we make a difference.
